II edition of the course Art and Science: Creative Spaces

Last 26th of September the second edition of the course "Art and Science: Creative Spaces" was inaugurated by Víctor Muños, Technical Coordinator of the ICE Andalucía TECH at the University of Malaga.

The General Research Services are extended on the campus of Sevilla

Andalucía TECH will have a new scientific infrastructure belonging to the Pole of Biotechnology at the end of 2014. The building will house some of the General Research Services, such as Animal Production and Experimentation, the extension of the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Radioisotope, all focused on the healthcare branch.

Andalucía TECH and VLC Campus will create an International Centre in Berkeley

The rectors of the Universities of Valencia (UV), Esteban Morcillo, Seville (US), Antonio Ramírez de Arellano, Polytechnic of Valencia (UPV), Francisco J. Mora,  the Vice Chancellor of university coordination of the University of Malaga (UMA), José Ángel Narváez, and the coordinator of the CSIC in Valencia, José Pío Beltrán, have signed a memorandum of understanding for the establishment of an international center on the campus of the University of California at Berkeley (UCB).

The International Commission assesses positively the International Campus of Excellence Andalucía TECH

The International Commission that evaluates the progress of the ICE projects has highlighted the ambitious goals and achievements of Andalucía TECH since its establishment in 2010.

The report, performed once the 2nd phase of the evaluation of 2013 has concluded, emphasizes the strengths of the campus, such as the joint programs launched by the Universities of Seville and Malaga, the plan for talent attraction, the internationalization activities with the University of California at Berkeley and double bridge with Asia and Latin America.

Andalucía TECH and "La Caixa" Foundation foster the economic growth of the transport sector

A study aims to make Andalusia a region of reference in research, experimentation and knowledge transfer in the field of transport and logistics. The US and the UMA, with the collaboration of "la Caixa" Foundation, seek to use the potential in the transport sector.

The designed plan suggests an increase of the logistic innovation in the main Andalusian productive sectors (aerospace, metallurgical, energy, food and agriculture industry, etc.), which can provide a boost of Andalusia as a center of excellence in Urban Freight Distribution.

The Andalucía TECH Foundation approves the financial statements for 2012

The Board of Patrons of the Andalucía TECH Foundation met at the University of Seville to approve the financial statements for 2012. The participants were the Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA), the Superior Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), the Technological Park of Andalucia (PTA), the Scientific Technological Park Cartuja, the Aerospace Technological Park Aerópolis, Abengoa, Ayesa, Endesa, the UNIA and the Universities of Seville and Malaga.
