Andalucía TECH joint degree

Biochemistry and Molecular Biology are based on fields such as “Molecular Life Sciences" and “Molecular Biosciences”.

The molecular level is essential to understand how living organisms work.

At the molecular level, the complexity of shapes, structures, organization and functions of living organisms reaches a uniformity of principles and mechanisms that allows us to better understand the wide range of aspects related to human life, including nutrition, health and even the environment.

Career Opportunities

The Biochemistry study programme entitles graduates for a wide range of professional activities, including:

Research and development in Molecular Biosciences; secondary and higher education teaching positions; health care professional; biochemist working in biotechnological, pharmaceutical or related industries; careers related to the information,documentation and scientific and technological dissemination of Molecular Biosciences, marketing of products and services related to Molecular Biosciences.

In addition to the above mentioned positions, thereare many others indirectly linked to a scientific biochemical background.

Many companiesfrom very different areas seek for graduates with a strong scientific background, havingacquiredskills related to analytical thinking, creativity in problem solving and the ability to manage complex information.
