The International Campus of Excellence Andalucía TECH, promoted by the University of Seville and Malaga, is specialized in Communications and Information Technologies -CIT-, Production Technologies (PT) and BIOTECH. This model plans the strengthening of strategic actions regarding teaching, research, and knowledge transfer around six Educational and Research Poles of Excellence: Aerospace, Biotechnology for a Beneficial Society, Communications and Mobility , Energy and Environment, Transport and Spatial Development, Tourism and Territorial Development. These Poles have been identified through the SWOT analysis as strategic opportunities resulting from the aggregation capacity of the Universities of Seville and Malaga with key stakeholders for the economic and social development in Andalucía TECH, shaping this ecosystem of knowledge and innovation generation committed to the society in terms of knowledge transfer.

This Campus model, targeted at the educational and research excellence within the field of technology and around strategic aggregations, fosters its singularity in order to be part of a diversified Spanish map. Moreover, at international level, its specialisation in technology applied to different strategic aggregations is aligned with the most prestigious Campuses, becoming Andalucía TECH campus an important pole of talent attraction at international level.
